Trip to Trondheim

We have spent the weekend in Trondheim, Norways third largest city.
Trondheimfjord is long and with few shelters so we decided to instead stop along the coast and get the express ferry in. The ferry does between 30-40 knots and is pretty impressive!
Heres a few photos from our trip, Daniels Stockans t-shirt with Orkney flag (which is very similar to the Norway flag) got a lot of interest!
Trondheim was a very scenic city, full of lovely wooden buildings and greenery. The city was also full of cyclists, Teslas and massive motorbikes! It was a lovely change for the weekend, were now preparing to move further north with Quickstep.

Massive wooden buildings

Colourful buildings

Lovely walking/cycling bridges

Fun wooden steps

We must have seen 40+ Teslas, and hundreds more electric Nissans, BMWs, VW, KIAs etc

A different form of transport for our Norway adventure!

Daniel can pedal while I sit in the trailer!!?

Old boats along the river

Very impressive architecture throughout the city

We had a look through the town centre shops, not that we could afford much with the fall in the GBP - NOK

HUGE bikes!

Quite a campervan when you carry a motorbike on the back!

Amazing campervan

These had driven all the way from France to Nordcap and were heading back to France again

We went along to the Organ recital at the cathedral, gigantic instrument

Interesting buildings everywhere, both stone and wooden

It poured with rain but in the hot temperatures it was quite a relief

A city full of either sports cars or electric cars

Bridge covered in flowers

Interesting sculptures all around

More amazing bikes, lots of mopeds around too

Nice car, with the cheaper to run option in the background!

Lovely sunset

The ferry we took in and back again, amazingly fast!
