We're still in Shetland, through the guidance of Jim Scott local fisherman we are now looking at the most likely departure date of Saturday. Until then we are happy to recoup our strengths at this incredibly comfortable marina / caravan park. Although we would have loved to be writing from Norway just now, a hot shower and a good yarn with both Jim and Josephine (along with all their help) have made the first leg of our adventure much easier and more enjoyable.
We have taken the opportunity to hire a car and get to see some of Shetland by land instead of sea and what a beautiful place, we have all been surprised by just how different the scenery is to Orkney. An impromptu tour in to Lerwick from Jim and Josephine and a trip to Sumburgh lighthouse has kept us entertainted followed by some chartplotting over a beer this evening we are now heading to bed.
